We understand that you will have many questions when purchasing a quality used car. We want to ensure that you have all the information possible to ensure you’re fully informed when purchasing with Pro Sports Cars. Please see below frequently asked questions from our valued customers have asked our Sales Advisors when purchasing their quality used car. Yes. We will evaluate your car and offer you an amount to purchase the car as a part-exchange.
Yes. Every car we sell at Pro Sports Cars is checked, tested and valeted by our team of experienced technicians before we display in our showroom. We offer all our customers a 6-month warranty with Black Star Warranties if your car isn’t still under the original 3 years manufacturer’s warranty.
Yes, we can arrange test drives on all our cars. Please ensure that you bring your driving license for our records. Pro Sports Cars are based in Hull, customers who are happy to drive to our headquarters can test drive any car on site with a Sales Advisor.
Yes. You can request a settlement figure of your car at any point, you would need to enquire this directly with your finance lender.
No. You can pay via cash, debit, credit card or bank transfer if you wish.
Yes, but please bring cash at your own risk*. We would advise all our customers to pay via debit card if wishing to pay via cash as a safer alternative.

Yes, we accept cheques but please note that these may take longer to process than paying via finance, cash, debit or credit card.
Yes. We have card readers on site to ensure your transaction is safe and secure. We ask all customers to retain their receipts for their records. There is not a service charge added from Pro Sports Cars when using the card machine, our customers can use the card machine free of charge.
Yes, please let us know which date and time you prefer and we will try and accommodate your requests.
No. We offer PCP and HP finance to all our customers who are interested in our range of cars. For more information on HP and PCP, please see below.
Yes. We are proud to offer our customers free UK mainland delivery on all our vehicles.
Yes. We offer all our customers a range of finance options. Please speak to one of our Sales Advisors for more information.
Yes, we offer HP finance options to our customers. For more information on HP, please see below ‘What is HP?’.
Yes, we offer PCP finance options to our customers. For more information on PCP, please see below ‘What is PCP?’.
Unfortunately, we do not offer car insurance. It is the car owners responsibility to ensure that the car is insured when buying with Pro Sports Cars.
If you’re applying for finance, after signing the documents and returning, our standard lead times are 10 – 14 working days.

If you’re buying the car from Pro Sports Cars via cash, debit, credit card or bank transfer, our standard lead times are 7 – 10 working days.

We have stock arriving to our showroom daily. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, please give us a call and we’ll source any car on the market for you to suit your budget.
Yes. We can add any negative equity to a new deal spread over a 48 month agreement.
Not as standard, although there may be some tax on the car at point of purchase. The customer would need to register their road tax for the car online or in store at the Post Office.
If you wish to part-exchange your car with Pro Sports Cars, we will assess your car and inform you if we can or can’t accept it.
If your car has cosmetic damage, such as scratches and/or dents, this will lower the value of what we can offer you but we will be able to accept the car as it is.
If for example, your car is damaged by an accident or crash damage, we will not be able to accept your car as part-exchange.

If you choose to pay for your car with a Hire Purchase (HP) agreement, you will normally pay an initial deposit and will pay off the entire value of the car in monthly instalments. When all the payments are made, the HP agreement ends and you own the car. Once you’ve made your final monthly payment, including the option to purchase fee, you’ll have full ownership of the car. Monthly payments may be higher than some other finance options, such as PCP, as you’re paying off the full value of the car. Please note, you won’t own the car until you have made all of your repayments and, you won’t be able to sell the car without settling the finance. PCP (Personal Contract Purchase) is ideal for people who want lower monthly repayments and prefer to change cars on a regular basis. PCP is a variation of a Hire Purchase agreement. The key difference is that the value of the car at the end of the contract is calculated at the start of the agreement and this value is deferred. This deferred sum is usually referred to as the Guaranteed Minimum Future Value (GMFV) and is based on a number of factors including how old the car will be at the end of the agreement and how many miles it is expected to have covered. Deferring the GMFV to the end of the agreement in this way means that your regular monthly payments are lower than those on a comparable HP agreement over the same term.

A PCP agreement also gives you the flexibility to decide whether you would like to own the car outright at the end of the agreement by paying the deferred value (GMFV), or returning the car to the lender and entering into a new car finance agreement.

Yes, your car may already come with a manufactures warranty as standard. If your car isn’t covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, we are pleased to offer customers a 6 month warranty as standard with Black Star Warranties. You can purchase an extended warranty if you require, please speak to a Sales Advisor for more information.
Yes. Please speak to your Sales Advisor about how much you would like to deposit and they will work out your monthly repayments.
